Greetings fellow traveller,
In the winter of 2009 a group of Estonian misesian enthusiasts gathered to start a local group in Tallinn for those passinate towards economics and politics. As there was no reason to try to reinvent the wheel and everyone understood the global reach of the rise in the interest in misesian views during recent years an easy to recognize name was chosen. Thus Mises Circle Tallinn was born.
Since then Mises Circle Tallinn has been coming together atleast once a month and since the fall of 2011 were having regular pub-meetings every other Thursday. And no, it’s not a private club – everyone is welcome to join us at The Dubliner in time for a dinner and a nice drink (usually at 18:00). This week (Feb. 23rd) will be trying out a new place Hr. Mauruse Pubi, it is located in the vicinity of our previous location but has a potential for a slightly relaxing atmosphere.
October 2011 also saw the birth of another side-project, an introductory course to economics in the austrian tradition, which is directed towards high-school students but suitable for everyone with interest but no background in economics.
